We have been discussing halves and quarters; Ben, Olivia, Ella and Annabel talk about halves and quarters, Fletcher and Caleb talk about sharing 3 pieces of bread between 4 people - Fletcher knew exactly what to do until I videoed him... he then lost his words!

Shoelaces

Samuel was so proud of being able to tie his shoelaces on his new shoes, he burst into the class this morning and demonstrated.   Thank you to his awesome whanau for teaching him, (mum, dad or nana)!  It makes my job easier. Thank you also to the lovely children in room 7, two of them in the photo, Melissa and Sophie, who took the time to watch him.  Room 7 children are awesome... Kind and caring...thank you!

We are talking about fractions, we discussed halves and quarters... With fairy bread
