Georgia's learning from the Marshmallow tower challenge.

The children always share after a learning experience what they have learnt.  A lot of learning is not about the learning but about what is behind the learning; how or what they have learnt which will make them able to be independent learners.
In this video Georgia shares what she has learnt about how worrying affects achieving.

Marshmallow Tower Callenge

We had 18 minutes, 1 metre of string, 1 metre of tape, 20 sticks of dry spaghetti and one marshmallow.  The challenge was to build the highest freestanding tower.  It was interesting and yummy because everyone got a piece of marshmallow at the end!

Farewell Mrs Winter's

We had a last Koru assembly for Mrs Winters where we said farewell to her.  All the children have been taught by Mrs Winter's, we really appreciate her incredible knowledge and input into our team!  The children all got together and from our ideas we came up with the following video.

Animal Dress up day was fun!

Thank you parents for the gold coins to support the SPCA.  The children all thought it was wonderful dressing up as animals!
