Writing

We found a mystery gigantic foot print outside in the sandpit (thanks Katrina!), we all stood by it and thought about how a giant would make us feel, and what we would do.  Some fantastic writing, we enjoyed writing outside...we have published them on our word wall...

Maths - place value

We are learning place value so we went outside and got 10 objects each, stuck them onto a strip of paper and worked out how many tens there were in different numbers.

Marshmallow Challenge Number 2

We had another go at the challenge after our Fail (first attempt at learning). I was so impressed  that even though we only had one group that had a standing tower at the end no-one gave up. They kept trying right to the end. Well done Room 7

Planting the hanging baskets

We look after the hanging baskets  in the school so if you see them give your children a pat on the back for a job well done!

Our Teddy Bear Picnic

We really enjoyed making jackets for our teddy bears and taking them to the hall for a picnic!!
