We love this game - it's very noisy, but very effective to learn facts to 10, doubles, and 2,5,3,4 and 10 times table.

Bridge Challenge

We  had a bridge challenge and we made bridges.  We made a bridge and we had to see how strong it was, we had to balance a container of chalk on it, everyone balanced it so we had to see who had the longest bridge.  My team had the longest  bridge so we won!

We made a display of what we did for Learning Pathways.  We all made fruit for Wellness Week, some of us made Worry Dolls, puppet show, played instruments, visual arts, gardening and clay tiles.

Hi Mrs Nankivell and Room 7,

I am having a fun time in America. We are now in Los Angeles after spending 3 weeks in the RV. I have seen a snake, bears, wolves, elks and mules. I got my Junior Park Ranger badge for learning how to care for wildlife and the environment. I saw the Grand Canyon. That was exciting. I learned about fossils. We also went to Hoover Dam, the biggest Dam in the world. It was 726.4 feet tall and the tunnels were 4000 feet long.  It took 5 years to build.

We are going to Disneyland tomorrow, which I am very excited about. We then fly to Hawaii next Thursday for 2 weeks.

I miss you all. See you next term.

On Thursday we had Tower Day.

We had a puzzle to solve in the morning, involving a torch and shadows, ask your child how they solved it!  We then built towers just for fun!
